Established in 1984.
For nearly thirty years, India Sweets & Spices has been serving the community all over Southern California. The founder, Mr. Kumar Jawa, is very involved with his family-run business which currently has 8 locations around California and another location in Beaverton, Oregon with more springing up soon. Our primary branch, located in Los Angeles, is the biggest Indian grocery retail store in Southern California; we feature all the top brands of spices, Indian breads, sauces, pickles & pastes, and so much more. In our restaurant, we offer a wide variety of authentic, home-style vegetarian and vegan cuisines from Northern and Southern India.   Awesome sweets here. I wish I weren't on a low carb diet. Ask the clerks for recommendations, if you don't know what the sweets are like. I also like the savory snack selection they have here - again ask if you don't know. I don't know about the food for meals here, but I bet they are at least ok.

  Interesting stuff, never been to an indian spice before but then the owner started hitting on me and felt very uncomfortable. He started asking about my sexual life. He was open and comfortable but i wasnt at all

  I got my eyebrows threaded here today and it was amazing. Finally someone was able to make my eyebrows match each other. I'll definitely be coming back
